1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage in your browser.
2. How we use cookies
We keep things minimal. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels on norbit.online.
Strictly necessary / preference storage
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
norbit_cookie_consent_v1 |
localStorage | Remembers your cookie choice and policy version so we do not show the banner again until the policy changes | Until you clear site data or we update the policy version |
Third-party content (may set cookies)
We load some assets from CDNs when you visit our site:
- cdnjs.cloudflare.com — Font Awesome icons
These providers may process technical data or set their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control third-party cookies.
3. Server-side visit data
Separately from browser cookies, our servers log page views and technical information (IP address, browser, approximate location). This is described in our Privacy Policy and is not stored as a cookie on your device.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, you will see a cookie notice with options to Accept all or Essential only. Both choices currently store only your preference; we do not load optional marketing or analytics scripts on this site.
You can also:
- Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings
- Block cookies entirely (some features may not work as expected)
- Contact us at contact@norbit.online with any questions
5. Policy version changes
We version our cookie consent (currently v1). If we update this policy in a way that affects consent, we increase the version number. The banner will appear again — with a short note explaining the version change (for example, from v1 to v2) — and you will be asked to confirm your choice again.
If we add analytics or other optional cookies in future, we will update this policy and bump the consent version where required.
